Fordingbridge Visitor Information

The VIC works with the Fordingbridge and Surrounding Villages Community Tourism Group to gather information, promote local events and businesses and develop initiatives.  The Group has produced the local leaflets 'Fordingbridge & Surrounding Villages Where to Shop, Eat & Drink, What to see & Do' and the 2011 publication 'Your Guide to Retailers & Services in Fordingbridge Town Centre'.

The village of Sandleheath lies between Fordingbridge and Damerham.  There is a flourishing village shop & post office in the middle of the village.  Both the Methodist Church and Anglican Church have combined for their church services.  There is also a well-used tennis club situated behind what used to be St.Aldhelm's Church on Main Rd.  St.Aldhelm's is now the home for the time being of the famous Hyde Band.  For those that like walking as a hobby there are well-documented walks from the village, details of which are available in the village shop.
