Car Parking

Why not buy a yearly Parking Clock that is valid for up to 3 hours in most New Forest District Council (NFDC) car parks.  Annual price is £20 for the 2012 calendar year.  Buy the parking clocks on line or visit your local NFDC office.

Fordingbridge and Sandy Balls Holiday Centre

Fordingbridge is an ideal place to visit from Sandy Balls as it has everything you need and enables you to enjoy the atmosphere of independent shops rather than visit the familiar shopping malls.

A taxi will ONLY cost around £5 to get from Sandy Balls to Fordingbridge.  The Local Taxi Companies are:

Express Taxis: 01425 650000

and

Fordingbridge Cars: 01425 652676

Fordingbridge is on the western edge of the New Forest surrounded by rolling countryside and places of interest yet being within 60 minutes of Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Winchester Cathedral, the South coast and the Isle of Wight.

Add to this a town full of Independent Retailers with personal, knowledgeable service and you will realise that Fordingbridge offers a very special experience.

This intention of this website is to be useful to both locals and visitors as it gives information on businesses and activities in Fordingbridge and Surrounding Villages. The website is run by volunteers to promote the local area to all.

Fordingbridge is fortunate enough to have a Visitor Information Centre (VIC) in Kings Yard on Salisbury Street, Fordingbridge. The VIC opens in 2012 on 2nd April until October.  Please give information of events that you are holding locally to the VIC so that they can make visitors aware of these attractions.
